When the weather is crisp outside, the leaves a palette of gold, orange and red, there’s no better way to warm up than with a cup of this delicious autumnal version of Pimm’s. Similar to mulled cider and just as wholesome as everyone’s favourite winter drink, mulled wine, it’s perfect at this time of the year. We enjoyed ours after a blustery walk in the forest; all that was missing was a roaring fire.
Ingredients
400ml pressed apple juice
50ml Pimm’s
50ml dark rum
1 cinnamon stick
2 apple slices
Method
Begin by warming the apple juice on a medium heat with a cinnamon stick in the pan. In a jug, mix the Pimm’s and dark rum before dividing equally between two cups. Cut two slices of apple and remove the pips. Pour the gently warmed apple juice into the cups and garnish each with a slice of apple.
